Automation Needs Analysis

Cobalt offers a one-hour, free automation needs analysis.  All of our work begins with a needs analysis because strategic solutions require a good foundation.

Our automation needs analysis includes:

• An introduction to Cobalt and how we do business
• A discussion about your practice and how you do business
• An introduction to your key staff members
• A review of current documents and the process you use to create them
• A survey of your current technology: Software, hardware, and support

We request you bring the following to the needs analysis:

1. A complete Superior Court pleading at least 2 pages long (with caption, body, signature block, and mailing certificate)
   
   If your firm doesn't do litigation, then samples of the kinds of legal documents you typically produce.   

2. A complete letter at least 2 pages long (with signature block, enclosures, and CCs)

3. A sample envelope with the return and mailing addresses complete

4. A sample Memorandum at least 2 pages long

5. A sample Fax Cover Sheet

6. A sample of each label you produce in your office:  for example, Bates, file folder, and mailing labels.

7. Any other work you think you may want to automate.

After the needs analysis, we will submit a proposal covering what we discussed.
